I was so shocked and saddened to hear of his passing. He was one of my favorite characters on Sex and the City. My favorite line of his was when he, and all of the girls went to Samantha's new boyfriend Smith Jerod's opening night of his play,in which there was full frontal! It was in Brooklyn, I think, and when Samantha said "all of Manhattan is here," Stanford says," then who's watching the island?!" I thought that was frickin' hilarious! I laugh every time I see that episode! He had so many great story lines and one liners. I wonder how his death will be written into the new tv show "And Just Like That..." He was Charlotte's gay best friend Anthony's husband. He was truly loved, and he is really going to be sorely missed. He was way too young, and I feel so bad for his son. It's so sad how many great young actors we're losing to cancer. Chadwick Boseman, and now Willie Garson. Thank God he is no longer in pain. Rest in peace Mr. Garson.

I don't cry over many celebrity deaths. I cry when a celebrity has made an impact on me. I cried over Robin Williams and I cried over Willie. Not only was he hilarious in so many roles, but he was an amazing human being. He raised his adopted son as a single father, which isn't easy for any person. The world is a little darker without him in it. My heart goes out to his son. 💕
