A "concerned neighbor" spoke with Modeshift Omaha about the traffic in the area of N 78th Street between Military Avenue and Crown Point, said the press release.
Modeshift Omaha will be hosting a gathering called "Walk With Us" at the corner of 78th and Fort streets on Friday, September 24 from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. to:
- Speak on the issue
- Hand out traffic-slowing signs
- Listen to what the city is doing about the speeding issue in the area
One of the neighbors in the area, Jon Radebaugh says there are numerous traffic problems.
“Excessive speeding by cars, pickups and school buses. Cars passing other cars on the double yellow line, and most recently, a neighbor was rear ended turning into his driveway!”
