(Guttenberg, IA) — A pedestrian is dead after being struck by a school bus this morning (Thursday) in northeast Iowa. The State Patrol says a St. Mary’s School bus in Guttenberg struck 66-year-old Judy Plus. Troopers say Plus was trying to cross at an intersection when she was struck by the bus and died of her injuries. No charges have been filed against the 73-year-old bus driver. The incident is still under investigation. St. Mary’s posted about the crash on social media this morning saying there was a fatality that didn’t involve students.
