The upcoming Central Catholic Rams and Clackamas Cavaliers’ football game will receive national exposure in October. The game is scheduled to be nationally televised on ESPNU on Oct. 29.

The game will feature two of the state’s top 6A programs. The Rams are currently ranked No. 2 and the Cavaliers are No. 6 in the latest Oregonian/OregonLive Class 6A Top 10 poll.

The Rams (4-0, 2-0 in Mt. Hood Conference), the defending state champions (2019), defeated Tumwater (Wash.) 42-35 in overtime in Week 3. They defeated David Douglas 55-2 in Week 2 and Camas (Wash.) 28-17 in Week 1.

The Cavaliers (3-0, 2-0) defeated Camas 38-30 in Week 2 before rolling past Reynolds 56-7 in Week 3. The Cavaliers won by forfeit over Gresham to open their regular season.
