Eric D. Rudzinski, 55, of Hermann, MO, formerly of Chicago, Illinois, passed away Friday, September 17, 2021 at University of Missouri Medical Center, Columbia, Missouri.
Eric was born in Anchorage, Alaska, on February 9, 1966, the son of the late Edwin J. & Janet V. (Wenetpalo) Rudzinski.
He was the husband of Judy (Johnson) Rudzinski. They were united in marriage on August 2, 2006, in Chicago.
Eric proudly served his country in the United States Army. He was a member of Emmanuel Evangelical Free Church, Hermann. He was a retired police officer from Chicago, where he was a chief helicopter pilot.
Eric is survived by his wife, Judy Rudzinski, of the home; three sons, Darius, Kazimir & Ivan Rudzinski, of the home; two brothers, Michael Rudzinski & wife Natalie, of Tucson, Arizona and David Rudzinski & wife Gwen, of Port Angles, Washington; a sister, Martina Hemming & husband Oliver, of Georgia, and by many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents and a niece & nephew.
A visitation will be held Saturday, October 2nd from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at Toedtmann & Grosse Funeral Home, Hermann, where a memorial service will be begin at 1:00, followed by full military honors.
