Authorities identified 64-year-old Ruben Montero Martinez as the man who lost his life following a motorcycle accident in Mesquite.
The fatal two-vehicle accident took place at about 12:45 p.m. on Sept. 19. Ruben Montero Martinez, from North Las Vegas was riding a blue Harley Davidson motorcycle on I-15 over Falcon Ridge Parkway when his bike went off the roadway into a median, ejecting the rider from the motorbike onto the road below.
Ruben Montero Martinez fell in the way of a red 2012 Toyota Prius which then ran over the motorcyclist. The man reportedly died of his injuries at the crash scene.
