NELSON, Wis. (KWNO)-A Plymouth, Minn. woman was airlifted from the scene of a single motorcycle crash in Buffalo County on Wednesday evening.
Deputies responded to the crash on Highway 35 north of Nelson. Investigators say 49-year-old Melinda Peasha was traveling north when she went over a bridge and lost control of her motorcycle.
First responders say they found her approximately 50 yards from the crash site. Peasha was transported to a Rochester hospital with serious injuries by the Mayo One Helicopter.
Authorities say Peasha was wearing a helmet and protective gear. The front end of the motorcycle had broken off during the crash.
