Head-on crash in Coachella kills one person
One person was killed in a head-on crash in Coachella Thursday morning, CalFire reports.
It happened around 8:00 a.m. at the intersection of Grapefruit Boulevard and Avenue 52. Firefighters say there were two vehicles involved. One person was pronounced dead on the scene. Another person was taken by ambulance to a hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
