San Francisco Giants catcher Buster Posey is not in the starting lineup for Thursday afternoon's series finale against right-hander Yu Darvish and the San Diego Padres.
Posey is taking a breather after starting the last three games and four of the last five. Curt Casali is catching Logan Webb and batting eighth. Kris Bryant is moving up a couple spots to bat third.
