Previous coverage below: The Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women USA organization is asking the public’s assistance in finding 50-year-old Yvonne Gomez. Gomez’s daughters said they last spoke to their mother around 5 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 17. They said she was dog-sitting at one of their homes on the 300 block of East Berger Street in Santa Fe. They add that their mom’s phone has been off since Saturday and that she left all her other belongings, including her wallet behind. Gomez is 5 feet tall and weighs 130 pounds. She is Native American with brown hair with burgundy highlights. She has a tattoo along her collarbone that has a poppy flower on each side connected with vines. She has a tribal turtle on her right leg, a dragonfly with Gomez on her back and a small heart connected with heartbeats and a cross on her hand.
