Who Is Jordan Spieth’s Wife?
Between 2015-2017, Jordan Spieth was arguably the best player on the planet, securing 10 PGA Tour titles, including three Major Championships and the FedEx Cup finale.
Despite a lengthy slump in form, Spieth returned to the winner's circle in 2021, securing the Valero Texas Open, ending a drought that lasted almost four years. Not only was the event staged in his home state of Texas, it was also his first PGA Tour victory as a married man.
It is believed that Spieth met Annie Verret at high-school in Texas and stayed together despite attending different colleges. Spieth would attend the University of Texas at Austin, whilst Verret went to Texas Tech and majored in Business. She graduated with a GPA of 4.0.
After the pair left University, Verret was seen regularly attending events and competitions that Spieth was competing in, and was on site for his FedEx Cup win and Team USA's Presidents Cup victory in 2019.
The pair officially got engaged in late 2017/early 2018, with Spieth saying: "It was nice. My brother was in town and her sister got in town, so we had our families there afterwards and it was a great night, really exciting."
In 2018, the couple tied the knot, getting married in their home state of Texas over Thanksgiving weekend. According to GOLF.com, PGA Tour stars Rickie Fowler, Jason Dufner, Jimmy Walker and Zach Johnson were some of the players in attendance.

After nearly three years together, Spieth announced at the 2021 Tour Championship that the couple were expecting their first child. On the 14th November, the couple welcomed their son, Sammy, into the world.
While Spieth is on the golf course, Verret is, and has been, involved in a number of projects. She is reportedly the event coordinator for The First Tee of Greater Dallas, which is an organisation that looks to inspire underprivileged children through golf. She has also been involved in The Birthday Party Project, which is an organisation that looks to host birthday parties for homeless youths in America.
In November 2022, Spieth was reported to have been Best Man at Justin Thomas' wedding, when his Ryder Cup teammate tied the knot with Jillian Wisniewski.
Matt joined Golf Monthly in February 2021 covering weekend news, before also transitioning to equipment and testing. After freelancing for Golf Monthly and The PGA for 18 months, he was offered a full-time position at the company in October 2022 and continues to cover weekend news and social media, as well as help look after Golf Monthly’s many buyers’ guides and equipment reviews.
Taking up the game when he was just seven years of age, Matt made it into his county squad just a year later and continues to play the game at a high standard, with a handicap of around 2-4. To date, his best round came in 2016, where he shot a six-under-par 66 having been seven-under through nine holes. He currently plays at Witney Lakes in Oxfordshire and his favourite player is Rory McIlroy, despite nearly being struck by his second shot at the 17th during the 2015 BMW PGA Championship.
