TAMA COUNTY ARREST REPORT

September 9 – September 16, 2021

Sept. 9

Luis Antonio Puentes-Lopez, 27, Dubuque was arrested by Tama County Sheriff’s Department for violation of no contact order. Puentes-Lopez was released after pleading guilty on Sept. 10.

Jacquez Jordan Nipwater, 22, Toledo was arrested by Tama Police Department for violation of probation, dangerous weapon used in crime, possession of controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, and unlawful possession of a prescription drug. Nipwater was released on a surety bond on Sept.10.

Sept. 10

Burl Lynn Sytsma, 65, Knoxville was arrested by Tama Police Department for OWI-2nd offense and improper use of lanes. Sytsma was released on his own recognizance on Sept. 11.

Sept. 11

Travis Lamont Webber, 31, Marshalltown was arrested by Tama County Sheriff’s Department for interference with official acts, two counts of child endangerment-no injury, domestic assault-bodily injury, and one count child endangerment-bodily injury.. Webber was released on surety bond on Sept. 15.

Cody Allan Hand, 28, Tama was arrested by Tama Police Department for public intoxication and violation of probation. Hand was released on bond Sept.16.

Erica Lynn Velez, 30, Tama was arrested by Tama Police Department for interference with official acts, obstruction prosecution or defense, and going armed with intent. Velez was released on bond on Sept. 13.

Sept. 13

Jesus Christiano Morales, 24, Marshalltown was arrested by Meskwaki Tribal Police on a warrant for failure to appear. Morales was released on Sept. 14.

Winona Sue Bitterlie, 48, Tama was arrested by Toledo Police Department for public intoxication, possession of drug paraphernalia, and dangerous weapon used in a crime. Bitterlie was released on surety bond on Sept. 15.

Sept. 14

Leonel David Ocasio Rivera, 33, Marshalltown was arrested by Meskwaki Tribal Police for possession of a controlled substance. Ocasio Rivera was released on his own recognizance on Sept. 15.

Parnell J Roberts, 48, Toledo was arrested by Tama County Sheriff’s Department on a warrant for two counts of failure to appear.

Sept. 15

Ruach Pal Jioklow, 40, Marshalltown was arrested by Meskwaki Tribal Police for driving under suspension. Jioklow was released on cash bond on Sept. 15.

Fernando Alvarez Cuevas, 36, Toledo was arrested by Toledo Police Department on a warrant for possession of controlled substance-marijuana. Alvarez Cuevas was released on his own recognizance on Sept. 16.

Lang Donald Leonard, 45, Toledo was arrested by Toledo Police Department for driver license denied/revoked-OWI and driving while license suspended. Leonard was released on his own recognizance on Sept. 16.

Sept. 16

Falon Taris Kapayou, 21, Tama was arrested by Tama Police Department for OWI-1st offense, driving under suspension, and failure to maintain control.
