Rumors have been circulating all over the internet for quite some time now that Marvel Studios is finally bringing characters from Netflix's non-Marvel Cinematic Universe shows to Earth-616. There's a twist though as several reports claim that the studio will retcon the said characters and ignore their Netflix past. Characters like Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Punisher, and Kingpin have all been rumored to be making the MCU jump in Phase Four but as it stands, we've yet to get official word from Kevin Feige.

Now, Vincent D'Onofrio claims that the studio has yet to approach him about making his grand return as Wilson Fisk in the MCU, despite the fact that he's been heavily rumored to be Hawkeye's main villain. In an interview with ScreenRant, the Daredevil actor has once again implied that he's not appearing in any future Marvel Studios project but he did express his interest in making the jump.

D'Onofrio, who is one of the more social savvy celebrities on Twitter is well aware of the rumblings linking him to projects like Hawkeye and Spider-Man: No Way Home and according to him, he's quite flattered that fans hold his Kingpin performance with such high regard. He explains: "I do take it as a compliment. I so badly want to play that character again. I love that character. I just have to wait for Marvel to ask me. I think it's very clear that I would, and the fans know that I would jump at the chance to play again. I just need to be asked."

Personally, I don't buy any of Vincent's claims and I strongly believe Kingpin's arrival to the MCU is actually happening. Of course, actors involved in the billion-dollar franchise have strict rules to abide by when it comes to spoiling stuff unless, of course, your name is Mark Ruffalo or Tom Holland. I guess we'll just have to wait and see how it all goes down but if anything, I don't think Marvel Studios will pass up on the opportunity to have D'Onofrio on board.

Hawkeye will begin streaming on November 24 only on Disney+.
