Perhaps the biggest matchup in the SEC this weekend will take place in Arlington, Texas, where the Texas A&M Aggies will go for their 10th-straight win over Arkansas.

However, both teams are ranked in the top 20 this time around, so the rivalry should continue to be an intense one.

During Thursday’s edition of “McElroy and Cubelic in the Morning” on WJOX, cohost Greg McElroy explained what the key to the game will be. Then, he cautioned fans of offense that this might not be the game for them:

“That is going to win the game this weekend — whoever can effectively control the opposing line of scrimmage,” McElroy said. “That’s what it comes down to. Honestly, coming into this season, I thought Arkansas would be better on defense (from 2020). I just love Barry Odom too much to think that he wouldn’t have a capable group on that side. But I’ve been even more impressed, albeit against somewhat subpar competition … I think A&M has the talent to be that group. I’m very concerned about people who love offense — this is not going to be your game. I think it’s going to be like 17-14. It’s going to be hard to watch. … It’s actually going to be the result of, not of ugly offensive performance, but it’s going to be the result of excellent defensive performance.”

Will the Hogs snap the Aggies’ streak? Or, will Texas A&M’s dominance continue? We’ll find out at 3:30 p.m. Eastern time on Saturday on CBS.
