The Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Atlantic City recently opened a tapas restaurant inside the hotel called Sandpiper Coastal Bar & Grill.

Shared dishes are the focal point at the restaurant, which has a 240-seat dining room.

The menu includes mussels, oysters, shrimp and grits and ravioli. Local fish and shellfish features will rotate in seasonally, too.

“We are thrilled to officially announce Sandpiper Coastal Bar & Grill, a concept that our culinary team has been working hard to develop over the last several months,” Joe Lupo, president of Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City said in a statement.

The restaurant is open Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays from 5:30-10 p.m., and Saturdays and Sundays from 5-11 p.m.
