The Duchess of Cambridge looked stunning in a chic white ensemble at an event for her photography project, Hold Still.

Kate partnered with the National Portrait Gallery to bring together a collection of images illustrating the pandemic.

Hold Still featured moving images of health-workers battling the pandemic, grandparents greeting children through windows, families carrying on from home and many other moving moments from throughout 2020.

The Duchess attended an event last night (22 September) which brought together those involved in the project and celebrated its success.

Kate wore a white belted jacket with button detailing on the sleeves, paired with a floaty, dual-layer midi skirt for the event.

Photographs of the event were shared on the official Instagram account for the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge. A caption alongside the photos said that, “It took a long time to bring everyone behind this incredible project together in person but tonight we finally managed it.”

The post went onto explain that, “The idea for #HoldStill2020 came right at the start of the pandemic, and aimed to bring people and communities together, using the amazing power of photography.”

“Thank you to the brilliant partners who made Hold Still a reality!” it continued. “The most special thanks must go to the thousands of people across the country who took time to share their experiences of lockdown. Without them, the project really would not have been possible.”

As well as attending last night’s event, the Duchess has been in the Lake District in Cumbria this week to open an RAF Air Cadet training centre and have a go at mountain biking and abseiling.
