John Calipari and his staff are continuing to hit the recruiting trail hard as they look to build their 2022 and 2023 classes.

We all know that the 2022 class is already in great shape as they have locked up multiple top recruits already and will be landing more.

Looking ahead to 2023, the Kentucky Wildcats are expected to be in contention for the top overall class.

According to Andrew Slater of Pro Insight, Calipari was scheduled to visit two of the top players in 2023 on Wednesday.

Taylor Bowen of Brewster Academy is a 5-star and currently the No. 19 overall player in the class and the No. 6 overall small forward according to 247 Sports’ Composite rankings. No Crystal Ball predictions have been made yet. You can read more about Kentucky’s interest here.

Matas Buzelis, also of Brewster Academy, is currently ranked as the No. 23 overall player and No. 7 overall small forward, according to 247 Sports’ Composite rankings. As of right now there are no Crystal Ball predictions.

The 6-foot-10 Buzelis has already visited Florida State and Wake Forest. He holds offers from those two, as well as Kansas, UCLA, Arizona, Illinois and Syracuse among others.

The Kentucky staff has been killing it on the recruiting trail recently, and I would expect that to continue going forward.
