After being revealed as part of Jordan Brand‘s Fall 2021 collection, we now have an on-foot look at the Air Jordan 5 “Shattered Backboard.” Originally dubbed “Orange Blaze” by sneakerheads, the upcoming take on the court classic is a non-original colorway centered around a mix of “Sail/Orange Blaze/Metallic Silver/Black.”

Carrying the familiar “Shattered Backboard” color blocking, the shoe features slightly off white tone leather uppers paired with collar, quarter panel and tongue portions constructed of a textile mesh. Branding comes in the form of Jumpman motifs at the tongue and rear, marked lace locks, tongue tags and printed insoles. Elevating the shoe are silver speckled Air-assisted midsoles paired with rubber outsoles complete with translucent segments.

Priced at $190 USD, the Air Jordan 5 “Shattered Backboard” is set to release October 2.
