KYSERIKE, N.Y. — Kingston High School defeated Rondout Valley in four games in nonleague volleyball play Wednesday.
The Tigers won 25-15, 25-23, 20-25, 25-13.
Rachel Hoyt had five kills and 10 digs, Cadence Sickler had 13 digs and served nine aces, and Ryleigh Purvis had a double-double with 12 assists and 11 aces to lead Kingston.
Ava Wells (six kills, two digs), Stella Raponi (four kills, nine digs, five aces), Emma Gillis (15 assists, two digs) and Makayla Chapman (three kills, two digs) paced Rondout.
The Tigers resume Orange County Interscholastic Athletic Association play on Friday, Sept. 24, with a home match against Pine Bush. Rondout is at Saugerties in a Mid-Hudson Athletic League match on Tuesday, Sept. 28.
