CINCINNATI (WKRC) - Country music legend Keny Rogers passed away more than a year ago, but his timeless music lives on.
On Thursday night, CBS will air a one-hour TV special in his honor. And who better to be the main act than the beloved country music legend Dolly Parton?
"Kenny Rogers: All in for the Gambler" will air at 9:00 p.m. Thursday on Local 12 WKRC, Cincinnati's CBS affiliate.
The tribute will use footage from a concert held on Oct. 25, 2017, in Nashville's Bridgestone Arena. That concert was held just before Rogers retired.
Viewers were entertained during the first parts of that show by an impressive ensemble of musical artists, including Chris Stapleton, Lionel Richie, Lady A, Idina Menzel, Little Big Town, and Reba McEntire.
But of course, the main event and center stage belonged to Dolly Parton, who, in a must-see performance, sang a duo with Kenny Rogers.
