Worcester Man Arrested After Police K9 Locates Gun, Drugs

Worcester Police K9 Beebs Locates Firearm

WORCESTER – A man with outstanding warrants faces new drug and gun charges after being arrested in Worcester, with the help of a K9 officer, on Wednesday, September 22.

Members of the Worcester Police Neighborhood Response Team around Pleasant Street saw Tameiko Milligan, of Worcester, at around 1:15 PM. Officers were aware of two active warrants for Milligan’s arrest.

According to the Worcester Police Department, when officers approached Milligan, he fled on foot through traffic to evade police. Officers also say it appeared he was holding onto an item in the front pocket of his sweatshirt.

Officers came upon Milligan near Cottage Street, and arrested him without incident.

Officers called for a K9 unit to search the area. K9 Beebs arrived and deployed to track a grassy area on Sever Street abutting a parking lot on Pleasant Street.

K9 Beebs first located a loaded firearm in the area. Close to location of the firearm, K9 Beebs found bags of cocaine and fentanyl.

Milligan faces charges of:

  • Improperly Storing a Firearm
  • Use of a Firearm in a Felony
  • Trespassing
  • Trespassing with a Firearm
  • Resisting Arrest
  • Possession of a Large Capacity Firearm
  • Carrying a Loaded Firearm without a License
  • Possession of Ammunition without an FID Card
  • Possession of Class B Substance with Intent to Distribute
  • Trafficking more than 10 Grams of Fentanyl
  • Disorderly Conduct
