Sprinkle Road reopens after crash in Kalamazoo

KALAMAZOO, Mich. —
Sprinkle Road was closed for several hours Wednesday after a crash knocked down power lines.

Police advised people to avoid the area of Sprinkle Road between Kilgore Road and Covington Road while Consumer’s Energy worked to get the power restored.
The power outage started about 7 p.m. and impacted 66 Consumer’s Energy customers. Power was expected to be returned by 10:45 p.m. Wednesday.
No details were given about what caused the crash or if there were any injuries.
