Pitch imperfect: Conor McGregor chucks terrible toss at Wrigley Field

He’s got control issues.

Conor McGregor threw out a notoriously bad first pitch Tuesday night before a Chicago Cubs game at Wrigley Field.

The disastrous delivery sailed so far right (from McGregor’s perspective) that it left the camera view entirely and sent ceremonial catcher and Cubs third baseman Patrick Wisdom scrambling to find the ball.

McGregor joins a long line of scattershot celebs, from Carly Rae Jepsen to 50 Cent to Dr. Anthony Fauci.

In McGregor’s defense, he was wearing a full suit and coming off a disastrous left leg injury suffered in his most recent MMA fight in July.

McGregor called it: “The most devastating first pitch ever seen in the iconic Wrigley Field.”

“It’s a little off accuracy-wise, but I’m on the one leg, you can see me based fully on the left leg that was just recently injured,” he told the Cubs broadcast team. “I’m happy with that. I’ll take that.”
