I have to admit, I tend to overexfoliate my skin pretty often. I consistently use actives like
AHAs and BHAs, retinoids, and powerful ingredients that target hyperpigmentation and dark spots. My impatience actually damaged my skin even more. After learning my lesson to be gentler with my skin to see long-term, lasting results, I knew I had to change my skin-care routine and incorporate a few nourishing products.

I wasn't really one to care for a cleanser; whatever took the day off was good enough for me. However, I did not realize how a cleanser can affect the state of your skin. Even if it's on your face for less than a minute, a cleanser has the power to wreck your moisture barrier. I swapped out my exfoliating cleanser with the Korres Greek Yoghurt Foaming Cream Cleanser to balance out my skin-care routine and add some nourishment. After using the bestselling cleanser for a few weeks, I don't think I could ever go back to anything else. From the texture and consistency down to the sensorial experience, the Korres Greek Yoghurt Foaming Cream Cleanser is a cleanser that will prep and protect your skin for an effective skin-care routine. Keep reading for my in-depth review and how I like to use it.

Korres Greek Yoghurt Foaming Cream Cleanser

What I love about the Korres Greek Yoghurt Foaming Cream Cleanser ($26) is that it's the best of both cleansing worlds. It's got the suds and lather that will make you feel like you cleansed your skin properly. In fact, this cleanser produces such a rich lather it's better than some of my soap-based cleansers. The rich creaminess of the cleanser nourishes your skin with hydration and moisture. It effectively took the day off without being harsh. The Greek yogurt-based cleanser left my skin feeling like skin, not overly squeaky clean and without a weird residue, like some other cream-based cleansers.

Although the directions say to use a dime-size amount of it, the cleanser is so rich and lathers up pretty well that you really don't need anything more than a pea-size amount. The Korres Greek Yoghurt Foaming Cream Cleanser ($28) will last you a while. I used it day and night for two weeks, and I barely made a dent in it. On days where my skin is more sensitive, I use this cleanser with my hands and gently work it in. However, on days where I could use a boost of exfoliation, I use it with a facial cleansing device, and it still leaves my skin feeling nourished and soft.

The Korres Greek Yoghurt Foaming Cream Cleanser ($26) is made with sensitive skin in mind, incorporating ingredients like Greek yogurt rich in prebiotics and probiotics, calming amaranth seed extract, and hydrating sea water. It has a fresh, floral scent that is revitalizing yet calming. I use the cleanser for an extra 30 seconds to enjoy the sensorial experience. Whether you have acne-prone skin, dry skin, or reactive skin, this cleanser is something that will work for everyone. I highly recommend using this cleanser to balance out your skin-care routine and to add some much-needed nourishment.
