Magic Johnson recently called Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James the “greatest player in the game today.” Naturally, he can't say the same to any other player now. With that said, he gave a rather different but still fitting praise for Brooklyn Nets forward Kevin Durant when they had a business meeting.

On Twitter, Johnson posted a photo of him alongside Durant. It was apparently taken after a dinner meeting on Tuesday night along with the business manager of the Nets forward, Rich Kleiman.

“I had a fun dinner meeting last night with Kevin Durant, the most unstoppable offensive force in the NBA today, and his business partner Rich Kleiman,” Johnson wrote while tagging Durant's Twitter handle.

Magic Johnson is definitely not wrong in calling Kevin Durant the “most unstoppable offensive force” in the modern NBA. His ability to score from anywhere on the floor is truly elite, and his physical tools make it possible for him to even score tough shots. Simply put, the Nets star is a nightmare matchup for everyone.

However, a case can certainly be made that he is the best player in the game today over LeBron James. After all, there's a reason why he is considered the favorite to win the Most Valuable Player award for 2021-22.

Some players even think Durant is already the greatest in today's game since he can do a little bit of everything atop from his elite scoring.

Then again, Magic just probably don't want to get in trouble for calling two players the greatest today, so had to differentiate.
