Vincennes man arrested following crash

A man was arrested on Monday following a two-vehicle accident in Vincennes.

Around 9:00 am Monday, crews were dispatched to 5/Broadway where they found a vehicle with heavy front-end damage laying on its driver side. T

They also found another vehicle that appeared to have damage to the rear. Vincennes Fire stabilized the vehicle, and the driver was able to be extricated.

Both drivers were uninjured.

After the other male driver exited the vehicle, officers began a DUI investigation after observing several signs of impairment.

37-year-old Mathew Agee of Vincennes was then arrested for Operating While Intoxicated with Prior Conviction and Resisting Law Enforcement. He had a BAC of .195%.

Officers determined that Agee had been driving drunk and clipped a park car resulting in the accident.

He was booked into the Knox County Jail on a $5,000 bond.
