A Silver Creek man was arrested after Chautauqua County Sheriff's deputies investigated a harassment complaint at an address in the village Sunday night. Deputies responded to the scene at about 10:30 PM and spoke with multiple people, and they determined that 69-year-old Lawrence Mosandel had allegedly violated an active stay-away order of protection. Mosandel was located a short time later and charged with 2nd-degree criminal contempt. He was transported to the Chautauqua County Jail for centralized arraignment.
