College football upset picks have been prosperous early with ranked teams going down, but which teams are now in danger with Oklahoma in Week 4?

Top 25 teams have been getting upset at a seemingly breakneck pace early in the 2021 college football season and that trend didn’t let up a week ago. Not only did Michigan State wax Miami, West Virginia topple Virginia Tech and Fresno State get UCLA but we also saw Ohio State, Clemson, Coastal Carolina and Oklahoma play much tighter games than expected.

So if you’re expecting the college football upsets to stop in Week 4, you clearly haven’t been paying attention to this season so far. And there are some prime college football upset picks to make and several high-profile teams that need to be on high alert come Saturday.

In short, these five teams are very much in danger of adding another notch to the quickly growing list of top 25 teams to get knocked off by lesser teams.

College football Week 4 upset pick No. 5: Texas A&M Aggies

Rank: 7 | Week 4 Opponent: at 16 Arkansas | Time: Saturday, Sept. 25, 3:30 p.m. ET

There were certainly questions about what Zach Calzada taking over the Texas A&M offense would mean for the Aggies moving forward as he looked bad in relief of Haynes King against Colorado. He answered the call admirably last week, though, as he threw for 275 yards and three touchdowns in a 34-0 win for his team.

But I would contend that we learned absolutely nothing about Calzada at the helm of the offense for the simple reason that they were up against New Mexico. Now they have to go on to the road to face a top-16 Arkansas team that has won decisively in every game they’ve played this season, including routing Texas, 40-21.

Even though he helped beat the Lobos, the thought of Calzada facing an SEC defense — much less one that’s playing well right now — on the road is not comforting. He’s barely completed more than 50 percent of his passes this season. Yes, they can turn to the rushing attack but, with how explosive Arkansas’ offense has looked, the Aggies are going to need to pass.

Especially with this game in Fayetteville, Texas A&M taking a backup quarterback into this game is quite troublesome. And it wouldn’t be a shock to see the Aggies’ outside shot at an SEC title take a massive hit in this game.
