DEARBORN COUNTY, Ind. (WKRC) - A 37-year-old man was sentenced to 32 years in prison for meeting a 13-year-old girl on Snapchat and taking her to a hotel room to have sex with her.
Corey Frank pleaded guilty to two counts of child molesting.
Within a day of meeting the girl online, he drove from his home in Fishers to meet the girl in Harrison in March 2020. He then took her to the Baymont Inn in Greendale.
At the time, the girl told deputies they had sex three times in two days and wouldn't let her leave until he dropped her off.
Prosecutor Lynn Deddens said while the victim initially told Frank she was 18, she admitted she was 13 before any sex act happened.
Frank stayed with the victim for two days before taking her home.
“This case should be terrifying for any parent or member of the public. In the span of 24 hours this victim met her abuser and was in a hotel room with a 36-year-old man who had also lied to her about his age, being subjected to a terrible life-changing situation that had spun massively out of control,” said Deddens
The judge did suspend two years to probation.
