The official trailer for the doc was released on Wednesday

The trailer begins with a video of Britney, 39, performing as she says in a voiceover: "I just want my life back."

Experts weigh in on Britney’s conservatorship, with one person saying the star “feared her family would barge in and take everything.”

As lawyers wonder why the singer remained in the conservatorship if she was believed to be “okay,” one person says that “there was financial incentives for Jamie, for the lawyers.”

A following source points out that most people stuck in conservatorships don't have jobs, which has never been the case for the performer.

While Britney's conservatorship was initially a private matter for just those involved, the new Netflix doc reveals that those close to the legal issue eventually started leaking information.

One woman reveals that "someone very close to the conservatorship leaked me this confidential report."

Britney vs Spears will be available to stream on Netflix on September 28.

TEASER CLIP

The full trailer was released one day after the streaming service released a teaser clip for the documentary.

The clip kicks off with a title card that reads: "The following audio is a voicemail from Britney Spears to a lawyer on January 21st, 2009 at 12:29am."

The iconic hitmaker's voice is then heard, as she says: "Hi, my name is Britney Spears, I called you earlier.

"I'm calling again because I just wanted to make sure we're in the process of eliminating the conservatorship..."

Britney's current lawyer is Mathew Rosengart.

The Womanizer singer's father- Jamie Spears- has had full legal control of her through the conservatorship.

However, he stepped down as her conservator before completely filing to end the conservatorship in August.

Britney vs Spears is not the first documentary to take a look at Britney's legal battle.

FRAMING BRITNEY SPEARS

A Hulu documentary titled Framing Britney Spears was released earlier this year, which shocked fans and led to various celebrities- including her ex Justin Timberlake- to express their support for the star.

It also reignited the Free Britney campaign, with rallies being held in support of the singer.

The trailer comes weeks after the entertainer's dad stepped down from his role as her conservator after he allegedly became the "target of unjustified attacks."

SHOCKING CLAIMS

Britney, who was first placed in the strict conservatorship back in 2008, made some shocking allegations during a court hearing in June.

According to the 39-year-old, she was not allowed to get married and was forced to get an IUD she cannot take out to have another baby.
