FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — Two men are dead and two others are hurt after deputies said a suspect walked into a Fayetteville home early Wednesday and opened fire.
The Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office said deputies responded around 5 a.m. to a report of a home invasion and shooting at a home on Charlie Drive.

It’s unclear if any arrests have been made.
According to Sheriff Ennis Wright, the preliminary investigation revealed that a man walked into the home and shot four men.
Two victims were shot and killed inside the home. One victim was taken to a local hospital and is in critical condition. The fourth victim was hurt, but is expected to be OK. The victims’ identities have not been released.
