Arrest made after deadly shooting outside Gresham Walmart

GRESHAM, Ore. —
Gresham police say a 26-year-old man has been arrested, accused of shooting and killing another man outside a local Walmart earlier this week.

Officers responded to a Walmart parking lot on Monday evening after a shooting was reported. When they arrived, they found Dashawn Hudson suffering from gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
On Wednesday, authorities announced that a suspect had been identified and arrested in the case. Daniel Hipshman, of Portland, was taken into custody early Wednesday and lodged at the Multnomah County jail.

He faces charges of second-degree murder and the unlawful use of a weapon, according to police.
