JD Shelburne Graphic

This is a free country concert for the EKU and Richmond communities as part of the Exceptional Eastern Experience. Those in attendance can enjoy the concert along with an assortment of food truck and drink vendors.

J.D. Shelburne will perform a free concert in the Ravine on Saturday, Sept. 25, after Eastern Kentucky University’s football game vs. Austin Peay.

Shelburne is a Taylorsville, Kentucky native and country music singer. Shelburne recently released an album titled “Straight from Kentucky,” which made it into the iTunes country top ten. He has also opened for ZZ Top. The concert will not require tickets, and there will be food trucks available near the Ravine. Parking for the concert will be available in the Lancaster and Alumni lots.

This concert is a part of the Exceptional Eastern Experience (E3), EKU’s schedule of events for students to attend. For more information and a full listing of upcoming E3 events, click here.
