The Most Gorgeous Milan Fashion Week Beauty Moments in One Place

Several models walk the runway at the Del Core fashion show with bright green eye makeup

Milan Fashion Week is back and bolder than ever. We typically look at this round of fashion month for inspiration for minimalist looks, but the designers had something else in mind for the spring/summer season. They teamed up with their glam teams to surprise us with captivating colors and textures. Vibrant eye shadow was sent down the runway at Del Core, and spiked lashes appeared on the eyes of models, like Gigi Hadid, at Alberta Ferretti. And just wait until you see what makeup artist Peter Philips came up with for Fendi.

These innovative hair and makeup moments follow up the peachy looks in New York City for NYFW and the metallic aesthetic in London for LFW. Paris Fashion Week will wrap up the runway shows for the season next week, but we're beginning to think these Milan Fashion Week beauty looks will stick with us for months to come. Versace: Neon Eyes
Dua Lipa doesn't always take the runway, but when she does, she's modeling Versace with florescent eyes finessed by Dame Pat McGrath, of course. The iconic makeup artist layered neon lime and aqua theatrical paints with a hint of Citrine Envy from the new Mthrshp Mega: Celestial Odyssey palette for a golden green shift for the magical look. Hairstylist Guido Palau pulled the top of the singer's hair into a throwback half-up style that we have a feeling is about to make a major comeback.

Giorgio Armani: Aqua Liner and Piled-Up Plaits
If you look closely at the hairstyle at Giorgio Armani, you'll notice lead stylist Roberta Bellazzi created a pile of teeny-tiny braids — an updo we will be keeping in mind for days when we want to keep our hair out of our faces. To complement the intricate look, makeup artist Linda Cantello fashioned flicks out of sky blue and kept the rest of the face radiantly minimal.

John Richmond: White Lines
Instead of typical cat eyes with a feline upward angle, horizontal white lines spiked outward for a punk twist on the old Hollywood look. The Stila Stay All Day Waterproof Liquid Eyeliner in Snow will do the trick for your very own version of it. You may just start exclusively wearing your liner like this since it's so easy to nail.

Francesca Liberatore: Mohawked Buns and Iced-Out Eyes
Clouds of white pigment enveloped the models' entire eye area — including their brows — at Francesca Liberatore. To go along with the air of theatricality, an over-the-top updo of buns going down the models' heads for a mohawk-like effect accompanied the oh-so-cool iced-out eyes.

Alexandra Moura: Goth Rock Graphic Liner
We don't have to see Italian makeup artist Mariapia Saragnese's mood board for the look at Alexandra Moura to know a bit of Kiss, Siouxsie Sioux, and goth girls were on it. Some models were asymmetrical with their pitch-black graphic liner with flames flaring out from under only one of their eyes while others went full-throttle with both eyes boldly decorated.

Sportmax: Icy Accents
Sometimes, dewy skin is best shining on its own with a touch of balm on lips to echo the same sheen. However, when you add a whisper of icy-white pigment onto the inner corners of the eyes, as seen at Sportmax, complexions somehow look even more luminous.
Try out this trick yourself with an eye shadow, like the Shiseido Pop PowderGel Eye Shadow in Shin-Shin Crystal, or a highlighter, such as Makeup Revolution's Highlight Reloaded in Set the Tone. Then, skip mascara. You'll be shocked at how much more radiant your skin looks overall.

Missoni: Wet Curls and Winged Liner
Wet hair has yet again graced Fashion Month. We saw it all over NYFW and LFW runways. We're starting to think the look is just as timeless as the winged liner that it appeared alongside at Missoni. Model Priscilla Cheseaux's curly mullet-meets-shag cut looked especially stunning with the saturated effect.

Boss: Complementary Colored Corners
The models' eyes at Boss were decked out in complementary colors: blue and orange. Some only accented their inner corners with a subtle hint of tangerine or the outer ones with graphic-yet-diffused teal lines. However, the combination of both bold hues proved to be the perfect pairing for the athletic aesthetic of the show.

Drome: Peach Liner and Burgundy Lips
Makeup artists, like Mario Dedivanovic, will tell you they draw pale peach liner onto the inner rims of their clients' eyes to help them look more awake after a long night. However, when etched along the lash lines, the pastel hue has a completely different effervescent effect in and of itself. Makeup artist Karin Borromeo celebrated the shade that's usually used to supplement a look by pairing it with lips painted in a deep brown-toned burgundy. We'll be recreating the duo with the Benefit Cosmetics Roller Eye Bright Eye Pencil and the Best of Beauty-winning Imayla The One Hydrating Cream Lipstick in Cerise.

Etro: Studded Under Eyes
Peachy blush plus sparkly gems equal a truly divine combination. Makeup artist Lisa Butler swept the dreamy hue onto the lower part of the apples of the models' cheeks before adhering rhinestones and metallic studs below their eyes for a soft-yet-edgy vibe.

Alberta Ferretti: Spiky Lashes
Gigi Hadid took the runway at Alberta Ferretti with a low ponytail with piece-y tendrils and lashes carefully clumped together for an intentionally spiky look — an unexpectedly bold addition to an otherwise low-key look. The rest of her makeup was kept neutral with balm layered on her lips and a peach-toned nude blush swept onto her cheeks.

Fendi: Bronzed Blush
The stunning flush at Fendi wasn't simply one shade of blush. Makeup artist Peter Philips blended together caramel, peach, and buttery yellow for a multidimensional look. The models' bronzy wing shadow also diffused into the ombre of cheek hues. Hairstylist Guido Palau, on the other hand, pulled hair back into a sleek, center-parted bun to keep the masterful blush from being obscured in any way.

Del Core: Contrasting Colored Shadow
The playful placements of the eye shadow and their vibrant color pairings at Del Core were delightfully bold. Swaths of electric cobalt under eyes teamed up with tangerine inner corners; lime green with teal accents; and even aquamarine alongside touches of lavender.
