Dillon school closed for 8 days due to COVID-19 cases, students learning virtually

DILLON, S.C. (WPDE) —
Stewart Heights Elementary School in Dillon is closed until Sept. 30 due to a rise in coronavirus cases, according to Dillon School District Four Superintendent Ray Rogers.

Some parents reached out to ABC15 saying they were worried because they got calls from the school nurse and administrators that they needed to pick up their children.
District administrators said last month that students and staff members are encouraged to wear masks.

District administrators also said they are going by DHEC rules and CVC guidelines when it comes to school regulations.
