Happening on September 25th, Netflix's TUDUM: A Global Fan Event just released a teaser featuring the Superman actor hyping up the virtual spectacle and what fans could expect from The Witcher Season 2. Meanwhile, we still don't know what goes down in Season 2 but Cavill himself recently shared that the show will revolve around Geralt getting in touch with his paternal side and his struggles with his suppressed "White Knight Syndrome". As seen during the final minutes of the first season, Geralt and Ciri's paths finally crossed, and given Cavill's recent revelations about the upcoming installment and Geralt, it would be safe to say that the two characters will get to know each other a little more.

In other news, it looks like Cavill's days in the DCEU are actually over, and with the lack of updates regarding his status and the long-awaited Man of Steel sequel, the Superman actor could very well be on his way out of the franchise. Thankfully, he found an actual home on Netflix and the streaming giant seems to be really high on him which is of course a good thing.

The Witcher Season 2 hits Netflix on December 17, 2021.
