Carabao Cup draw ball numbers confirmed with Liverpool, Man City and more in the hat

The Carabao Cup have confirmed the ball number for Wednesday evening’s fourth-round draw.

The draw will be held immediately after Manchester United’s third round clash against West Ham on Sky Sports. There are many big teams still in this hat.

AFC Wimbledon, currently ranked seventh in League One, is the lowest-ranked team remaining in the competition.

If they want to get into the draw, however, they will need to beat Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal side.

Sunderland, second in League One, is joining the Dons in the fourth round.



The fourth round numbers have been revealed for the draw

Sunderland, who will be ball No.10, beat Wigan Athletic 2-0 on Tuesday evening, as the pair sit first and second in the table.

Manchester City look to extend their streak of Carabao Cup wins to five after beating Wycombe Wanderers at Etihad Stadium.

Pep Guardiola’s team lost the Carabao Cup in October 2016, when United fielded a young team against Catalan.

City will be drawn at No. 5.

Manchester CIty have won the last four editions of the competition

The other Premier League sides involved are Brentford, 1, Burnley, 2, Leeds United, 3, Liverpool, 4, and Southampton, 8.

On Wednesday night there are three Premier League clashes, and one top-tier side in all three fixtures.

Three Championship sides have already booked their tickets to the next round of Preston: 6 QPR, 7 and Stoke City 9.
