The Phoenix Suns were so close to securing their first NBA title last season, but the Milwaukee Bucks had other plans. Giannis Antetokounmpo overcame what was thought at the time as being a potential season-ending injury all to lead his team to a championship.

The addition of Chris Paul worked wonders for the Suns as Devin Booker and Deandre Ayton got their first taste of the playoffs in 2020-21. While key injuries to other teams assisted their efforts, the Suns’ playoff run ended up playing out greater than many experts had anticipated.

Despite having a disappointing end to their season, Phoenix is focused on finding a way to get back to the NBA Finals this season.

The good news for the Suns is that they will be bringing back their entire starting lineup from a season ago and most of their bench players too.
