Florial was optioned to Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre on Wednesday.
Florial was called up Sunday, but he didn't log any plate appearances during his time with the major-league club. He'll now head back to the minors after Domingo German (shoulder) was reinstated from the 10-day injured list Wednesday.
