Cuomo’s lawyer, Rita Glavin, sent a 25-page letter to the state Assembly Judiciary Committee as it prepares its own report on the accusations against the former governor, the Daily News reported.

Glavin in the letter revived arguments she and Cuomo made during the controversy: that James’ report made “material omissions and errors” as it pursued the predetermined outcome that he sexually harassed 11 women, according to the News.

Glavin also goes on to call the committee’s report, which was initially undertaken under the possibility of Cuomo’s impeachment, is unnecessary since Cuomo has residents.

“Any ‘report’ would necessarily trample on the governor’s due process rights,” Glavin reportedly wrote in her letter.

James’ office released its report on Cuomo’s alleged harassment earlier this summer, following months of news reports detailing accusations from some of the women included in the investigation. The Assembly Judiciary Committee is expected to release its own findings soon.

The AG’s report came as Cuomo also dealt with the controversy over his handling of state nursing home deaths during the height of the coronavirus pandemic.

Cuomo’s accusers have slammed the governor’s response to the investigation. Lindsey Boylan, a former executive staffer and candidate for Manhattan borough president, penned a medium essay in August saying Cuomo’s camp is “gaslighting” and “revictimizing” the woman who came forward.
