Fremont-area health department encouraging flu shots, plans clinics

FREMONT, Neb. (WOWT) - The Three Rivers Public Health Department announced Wednesday it’s planning four flu shot clinics.
3RPHD encourages anyone over the age of 6 months to receive a flu shot this year, noting that it will bill insurance companies for the shots for those who are insured but will also provide free vaccines to those who don’t have insurance — while supplies last.
The health department’s mobile clinic will be at Methodist Physicians Clinic, located at 680 E. Fremont Medical Park Drive, from 9-11 a.m. this Saturday.
3RPHD, located at 2400 N. Lincoln Ave., will also provide flu vaccines during their clinic hours next week:
- Monday 7 a.m.-4 p.m.
- Tuesday 7 a.m.-6:45 p.m.
- Thursday 7 a.m.-4 p.m.
- Friday 8 a.m.-3:30 p.m.
