Dell’Arte Opera Ensemble is set to present its “Great Aria Throwdown” on Saturday, Sept. 25, 2021.

The showcase, which will take place at Isham Park in Inwood, New York City, will feature soprano Flavia Darcie taking on arias from “Faust,” “Le Nozze di Figaro” and “Werther;” countertenor Robert Colon in music from “Tancredi,” “Mitridate re di Ponto,” and “Orfeo;” mezzo-soprano Diana Charlop interpreting arias from “Don Pasquale,” “Idomeneo,” and “Manon;” and tenor Geddy Warner as he performs selections from “Le Roi d’Ys,” “Don Giovanni,” and “The Magic Flute.”

All the singers will be accompanied by pianist Pablo Zinger.

The event will also be livestreamed via Instagram.

Per the company’s official website, this will be the first of several “Great Aria Throwdowns” of the 2021-22 season.
