There are still a lot of unanswered questions revolving around Sheridan Wahl's death.
The missing 21-year-old's body was found behind a Florence County fire department station on Tuesday, Sept. 21.
Her body will be autopsied at the Medical University of South Carolina on Friday.
We've created a timeline of events, starting with her being reported missing, to when she was found.
SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 19
Sheridan Wahl's mother was reportedly on facetime with her around 1 p.m. on Sunday in the 300 block of South Ocean Boulevard while she was trying to rent a scooter, according to a police report.
Sheridan was supposedly in town to visit her father, but he claims to police she never showed up at his home.
While facetiming her mother, Sheridan explained that she was refused service for not wearing shoes and told her mother she was returning home to Florida where her mother lived, according to a report.
Reports said Wahl was told by her mother to stay the night in Myrtle Beach to avoid a long drive home back to Florida. However, her family said they stopped hearing from her after that facetime call.
Her mother said the calls just kept going to voicemail after that initial facetime.
MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 20
Sheridan's mother Kelly took to Facebook to get the word out about her missing daughter around 1 a.m. on Monday.
Her initial post was shared more than 79,000 times.
Kelly then shared another post with the same details around noon that afternoon, stating that she had been missing since 1 p.m. the day prior. She continued to ask for prayers that her daughter would make it home safely.
At 7 p.m., Kelly shared to Facebook that she thought Sheridan was still in the Myrtle Beach area.
"Anyone living close by please be on the lookout," she said in the post. That was the last post publicly made by Kelly on Facebook until Tuesday evening.
TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 21
A body was then reported to have been found in Florence County around 8:40 a.m., Tuesday, according to Florence County officials.
Florence County Coroner Keith von Lutcken confirmed that the body found was Sheridan Wahl around 3:46 p.m.
Her body was discovered behind the Hanna-Salem Fire Department on Highway 378 in Pamplico, according to Lutcken. That's nearly 45 miles from where she was originally reported missing.
A GoFundMe page has been set up by her roommate to help raise money for Sheridan's family to have a memorial and funeral.
WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 22
The Myrtle Beach Police Dept. opened an investigation into Wahl's disappearance on Sunday and on Monday it was determined during the ongoing investigation that she left their jurisdiction safely, according to a tweet released from MBPD Wednesday evening.
At that time, the police department requested that SLED investigate because they have state-wide jurisdiction and authority throughout the state.
Wahl's mother posted a message to her Facebook prior to the police release about their "cherished and loving daughter, sister, niece and friend."
THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 23
A new incident report released by the Florence County Sheriff's office stated that Wahl's burned car was found in a field about 10 miles away two days before her body was found behind a Florence County fire department.
FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 24
Her body was autopsied at the Medical University of South Carolina and Florence County Coroner Keith von Lutcken said they are waiting on additional postmortem studies and investigation before releasing details.
"We do not have any additional information to share at this time, but will keep you informed in the coming weeks," von Lutcken said.
WHAT STILL NEEDS TO BE ANSWERED?
