A man is in jail after Lincoln Police found around $13,000 worth of meth in his possession.
Travis Nyhoff, 39, was arrested Tuesday for possession of methamphetamine with intent to deliver, possession of money while violating a drug law, and two outstanding warrants.
According to Lincoln Police, around 6 p.m. Tuesday, officers observed Nyhoff walking in the area of Northwest 12th Street and West Adams Street. He was wanted on two out of county warrants for Driving during Suspension.
Officers contacted Nyhoff and took him into custody for his warrants. Upon searching him, officers located 148.7 grams of methamphetamine -- an estimated street value of around $13,000 -- in separate bags, a scale, and $252 cash in a backpack that he was wearing.
Nyhoff is currently lodged in the Lancaster County Jail.
