Ohtani may have been great in the First Half, but far from it in the Second Half...Hitting .278 with a league leading 33 HRs he chose to enter the HR Derby, the kiss of death for so many superstars. Since that time he has hit .190 with 12 HRs and failed his team. That is not a MVP season regardless of the media hype!!!

the difference being Sosa was a juiced-up fraud while Otahni is highly talented, two-way sensation.
