It's always fun to compare QBs to other position players at the end of a week. Last week, Derrick Henry was king in all formats, followed by Aaron Jones. In PPR leagues, Cooper Kupp took home the silver before any quarterbacks came in the pecking order. But even though quarterbacks had a "down week," there were still 16 in the top 25 in overall points. We like to follow trends over a long period of time vs. one week of data. Usually, this shows that playing a QB in your superflex spot is the way to go, as the floors (and ceilings) are simply higher than the RB3s and WR4 also in consideration. So, when it comes to that last start 'em, sit 'em decisions on your roster -- be it a standard flex or a player for for a superflex/two-QB league -- we have you covered for Week 3 flex rankings.

We'll still lead our list with a ton of quarterbacks, but of course, there's always the potential for a monster Christian McCaffrey or Henry game to happen. But, as we alluded to earlier, how many of you out there are deciding between starting Kyler Murray and Derrick Henry in superflex? None.

WEEK 3 STANDARD RANKINGS:

What really matters is the pecking order as we move further down the list. There are rare cases where you would take a position player over a quarterback in a flex spot, but these types of leagues are generally deep, so it's not happening regularly. We only have two weeks of games to go off of, so we still don't have a complete picture of things like matchups, fantasy points allowed, etc. With all the QB injuries this week, things are shaken up even more, but, again, even a bad QB is a decent bet for 10 points. In standard leagues, that's more than you can expect from most mid-tier RBs and WRs.

WEEK 3 PPR RANKINGS:

As we moved down the list in both the standard flex rankings and superflex rankings, we ranked players with more upside higher than some of the handcuff running backs. Last week we ranked Henry Ruggs III ahead of AJ Dillon because of his higher ceiling, and guess what happened? Ruggs scored 22.5 PPR points to Dillon's 3.6. That said, we will have to consider Tony Pollard's standalone value more now, as he seems to have a decently safe floor and high upside. These are the constant decisions that will have to be made in these kinds of leagues.
