Search Warrant Served at Residence in Union County

The Multi-Agency Drug Enforcement Task Force, deputies from the Union County Sheriff’s Office, and the Special Response Team served a search warrant in the 17000 block of Boundary Road in Union County this past Monday. 

The search warrant was the result of an investigation into an alleged marijuana cultivation operation. 

During the search, investigators located a firearm, 29 live marijuana plants and marijuana drying in a barn and garage on the property. 

The MADE Task Force was assisted at the scene by units from the Marysville Division of Fire, the Allen Township Fire Department, and the Northern Union County Fire and EMS District.

When the investigation is completed, the case will be presented to the Union County Prosecutor’s Office for consideration of additional charges at a future Union County Grand Jury.
