LinkedIn Releases Long-Form Posts for Company Pages and New Ad Performance Insights
We’ve all witnessed lengthy posts from peers and former colleagues on LinkedIn, or viral, inspirational posts from a successful CEO or innovative founder. These long-form posts have been available on personal profiles for years, and now, LinkedIn is extending the option to company pages as well.
The networking platform shared this move comes from a wish to enable brands and companies to allow their followers/prospective clients to learn more about them without leaving the app itself. This update will also certainly equip companies with even more ways to present company content, including links within posts, pull quotes, and more.
It gets better: through this updated, long-form format, companies will gain access to additional consumer analytics. They’ll be able to see who is engaging with their posts, what links they’re clicking, whether or not they share a post with fellow users and more.
