Amelia Ann Hall

Amelia Ann Hall passed away peacefully on Aug. 16, 2021, at the Hospice Unit at Dallas Methodist Hospital in Dallas, Texas, after long hard-fought battle with heart disease. Amelia held a corporate position at Dallas Methodist Hospital for the past 15 years. She was a 1970 graduate of Vernon High School and a 1981 graduate of Texas A&M University. She always proclaimed to be a Proud Aggie.Amelia was born to the late Cecil (Pete) and Lucille Brite Cook on Oct. 11, 1951, in Vernon, Texas. She was preceded in death by a sister Janet Sue Thomas, and two brothers, Carl Keith, and Robert Kent Cook, nieces Brenda Kay Cook and Holley Diane Wade along with several aunts, uncles, and cousins. She is survived by husband Doyle of the home and her loving Schnauzer, Rosy, a son Pete Allen Hall, daughter-in-law Melissa, and granddaughter Penny Lane of Mansfield, Texas; also by nieces Becky Alexander, Suzy Wade, Laurie Jill Guerra, and Kristie Hutchinson; nephews, Lee, Keith, David and Cody Cook, many friends and co-workers.A memorial service for Amelia Ann will be Sept. 25, 2021 at 2 p.m. at Western Trail Cowboy Church in Vernon, Texas.
