According to the publication, he is also breathing fine without a fever and cough in addition to testing negative for the novel coronavirus.

There is also a bit of a complication as Messing had only received the first of two Pfizer vaccinations at the time of his infection and his physicians want him to wait until he is healthier before getting the second jab.

TMZ reports that doctors want to make sure that he is completely over the pneumonia that he had contracted during the peak of his fight with COVID-19.

His father James also told the publication that he believes that his son is in good care at the rehab facility in Tampa, Florida which has catered to many who are recovering from the virus.

Though there is some positive news doctors have told the star that there is still a long road to recovery  as he has already been in the hospital for over a month.

On August 19, it was reported that the actor was placed on a ventilator at a Florida hospital shortly after being diagnosed with COVID-19.

Messing's father James told TMZ at the time that 'nobody is allowed to visit him' and he's 'struggling to survive.'
